Overview of the products offered by Broady

Asbro Valves - SDNR/SDSL Valve
Existing Screw-down/ Screw-lift and Screw-down non-return valves for Naval applications, although relatively efficient are extremely expensive to manufacture. Therefore the design team at Broady Flow Control has, by value analysis, examination of similar NATO ship/ submarine valves and exacting simulated service condition testing, have developed a New Generation Valve; the ASBRO Valve. This has been achieved without compromising function, Safety, Quality or reliability whilst reducing the unit cost by a minimum of 35% compared to existing valve types.

The new ASBRO valve delivers significant savings over traditional design, and in many cases in excess of 35%. This has been achieved by:

Eliminating Fasteners that often require a high level of certification
Significantly reducing the number of cast components
Reducing the required amount of Radiography and Heat Treatment
Eliminating expensive weld repair of castings

Reducing Valves
Reducing valves are installed where it is required to reduce from one level of pressure to another, whilst providing the required fluid flow to satisfy a downstream demand, irrespective of fluctuations in the inlet pressure or flow demand.  The valves manufactured by Broady fall into two categories, direct acting and pilot operated.
